Special Treats

We had to try the Mallorca Breakfast Sandwich at Pinky's for breakfast one morning. It is a very small, but busy restaurant in San Juan.

Inside Pinky's

Pinky's Mallorca sandwich was Puerto Rican sweet bread with a slice of ham, 3 fried eggs, and Swiss cheese between the bread that is dusted with powdered sugar. It was huge!

Stan with his Mallorca breakfast sandwich.

Diana's "I want it All" smoothie. It was the whole blender full!

We went to Hacienda San Padro Coffee Shop so Stan could try real Puerto Rican Coffee. We each had a turkey and cheese croissant there as well.

Near the rain forest, we tried a pastry (or two) at La Familia 2 Bakery.

Pamperi Pizza at Ferrari Gourmet Restaurant

Argentina sausage, parmesan cheese, slices of fresh tomato, mozzarella cheese, and cheddar cheese on a thin crust.

Who can resist yogurt, gelato, or sorbet?

Frozen Yogurt next to the grocery store where we shopped.

Toppings for the yogurt. It was not a self serve place.

Our selections. Coconut yogurt with pineapple topping on one and chocolate flakes on the other.

Another yogurt place close to our condo.

Tart berry yogurt with blackberries and Oreo crumbs.
